Story
Kei Nakamura Jewellery is a small, independent jewellery atelier on Yakushima, a remote mountain island in southern Japan.
Founded and run by jeweller Kei Nakamura, the studio has been creating handmade pieces since 2004.
Each piece is crafted by Kei, by hand, in quiet rhythm with the island, its shifting seasons, blooming flowers, moon phases, ocean breeze, the sound of rain, and the soft light of the mountains.
Kei works with precious metals, natural stones, and shells from Yakushima to create jewellery with a gentle presence and a sense of the island.

Visit
Consultation
All jewellery consultations - including wedding bands - are handled directly by Kei at the Yakushima atelier.
I coordinate the timing of your visit so we can take our time discussing the design together.
For clients living outside the island, consultations are offered with the same care by email.
